A Very Little Christmas
FREE DOWNLOAD! INDIE, FOLK, POP Christmas album! It has all original songs. I highly suggest you download this album here:

A VERY LITTLE CHRISTMAS ALBUM
It features many bands from New Zealand.
The songs are so lovely. My favourite is a song called, “French Kissmas.” Imagine Serge Gainsbourg and Brigitte Bardot singing a 2010 Christmas song, but Kiwis (Chelsea Jade & James Duncan) have put their own flavour in it. LOVE IT!

Breakfast at...
Last weekend, we did what most girls dream of or watch in movies. We bought my wedding ring!
I wore my red dress which only half resembles this dress, pretending to be Anna Karina.
Chris and I walked around the city all day, running wedding errands.
We bought my wedding band at Michael Hill. I absolutely love it. It was a once in a lifetime moment.
And then I was Holly Golightly. Except, this ring didn't come from a Cracker Jack box. =)
Vegas, Baby Vegas!
I went back home to Vegas for the first time in 16 months. After 10 months away, I could feel myself dying inside. There is so, so, so much I miss about home. (America in general) It felt so good to unleash and just be myself in my natural surroundings. I wasn't as socially awkward. I think my people skills are the worst in the work place. Perma-culture shock. Would you believe that I've lived in New Zealand now for 2 years! EEEPS.
I was home for only about 6 days total! It was completely worth it. I hardly slept, tried to catch up with all of the amazing friends~! Jermee came in from LA, Kay & her bf Rich from Philly, LSL from Seattle, Lady C from Sacramento, etc. etc. Spent as much time with my family as I could, had a big catch up with my brother M. And last, sorting out my tedious immigration crap. HAH! I saw the amazing Miami Horror band from Melbourne Australia. We shopped for about 3 hours inside the mega-Forever 21. In N' Out w/ Lady C, I watched Jersey Shore with Dre & Belinda. Talked to my brother until like 3 in the morning in an empty parking lot while eating Del Taco, had drinks at the Crown N' Anchor & played Stone Roses on the jukebox in memory of my good times with A2, caught up w/ some Channel 13ers, had dinner at the Firefly w/ the girls & Chcuck! and did a little bit of lady shopping with Ash =)
I'll of course post all of my pictures, but here are some of my favourites from the first night:

This is happiness
I stole this one from Kay =P
Well the good news is I'll hopefully be back home again in 9 months and something even better just after that! Yeah! (See, I'm not so manic when my visits are a little bit more frequent.)

Hello this is me: JV
Hello dear blog number 3!
If you knew of the first one, you'd be embarrassed for me. Its locked now. Peacefully put to sleep! If you know of blog number two, then you're a good friend/livejournal'er who likes to keep in touch. I will continue to write there too! Don't worry =)
Let me introduce myself:
My friends mostly call me Jen Vegas.
I was born in Philadelphia and grew up in bright-lights-medium-big-city Las Vegas. Hence, me being liberal and free-spirited. Yes, there is an actual city/life outside of the Las Vegas strip and the insanity you see on television and movies. (Please leave your opinions and your generalisations about Las Vegas somewhere else, it's not wanted here!)
I live in Auckland, New Zealand (hence the Queen's English).
I am in the 20-something range.
I've been a vegetarian for nearly 10 years. It's a personal choice, and I don't judge others for their own lifestyle decisions.
I am obsessed with music. I can't handle pretentious conversations about music though, so leave your snark elsewhere. Not here.
I usually see more than I let on to believe. I cannot fake nor hide my true feelings about people/situations etc.
I love my family, fiance and friends to bits.
I love to dance but this rarely ever happens anymore. I love photography and used to be a professional portrait- studio photographer.
I love U.S. politics, in a dream life I'd work for C-SPAN. In another dream life, I'd be a clothing designer, but maybe instead I'll become a graphic/web designer.
I want to learn how to sew.
My favourite cities are Philadelphia, NYC, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Madrid, Montreal, Melbourne (That's in Australia! and it's a new favourite).
I have become painfully shy (all over again) living in a foreign country. My social skills are dwindling, but as soon as I get back home I'll shrug it off in no time.
I wish I looked like Sienna Miller with the style, grace and wardrobe of Jackie O, Twiggy, Anna Karina & Blair Waldorf.
Okay that's enough about me! On with the blog now...
