April 2011
I'm catching up on all these old photos, so please excuse the backlog. :)
The Breakfast Club met again at Gabby's magical place in Whangaparaoa! We enjoyed the last of the good sunshine weather. We ate fried mushrooms, basil, tomato with olive oil covered french bread baked in the oven. Boysenberry, ginger, apple, carrot yoghurt smoothies! (Yes, that's how you spell yoghurt in Queen's English!) YUM!

Simple and quick dress = out the door = happy husband
I'm a big fan of Ashley's blog http://milkteeths.blogspot.com , and that's where I found this red dress! Without even thinking, I bought it and had it sent to my mum's address in America. :) The perks of US shipping. One day, I'm going to open an Etsy shop. But that'll be when I don't live a million miles away from everything...one day soon.

Little French Cafe
March 2011
Chris & I have enjoyed eating our way through Auckland the last few years. On Queen St., there's a cute little French Cafe that I have walked past for the last year. I randomly thought of going there on one Saturday afternoon. It's also surrounded by dozens of Asian restaurants. We could probably try every restaurant and cafe on that street, and it'd take a least a few months!
Before going to the cafe we walked around K-road looking at the various antique//op shops.
Cross St.
I sat next to Elizabeth Taylor, this was about one week after her death.
Happy day!
Thanks for looking.
PS. Our internet is so super slow right now, and I haven't been able to read blogs for the last week. It'll be back at full speed on Tuesday when our data capacity resets. :( I can't wait to catch up!

WIWT: Major Apartment Envy
March 2010
Our friends Mike & Kel had a house warming party at their new flat in the heart of the city. I had NO IDEA their apartment was so massively HUGE! It was easily 3 times the size of our apartment, and I instantly felt at home there. Kel made homemade pizzas. YUM!
Dream goal = get a place just as awesome as Mike & Kel's :)

This is happiness.
Mike & Kel are so cool and so nice. :)

WIWT: Houndstooth & A Beauty Called Whangaparaoa
March 2011
Our friend Gabby lives in a magical place on the coast called Whangaparaoa! It's located just under 30 minutes outside of Auckland city. Back in March, we started the breakfast club or the brunch club. We've had brunch at her place several times since then. :) Her backyard is a beautiful valley of greenery, and there's even a pond with ducks.

For those who don't know, I love everything houndstooth and will just about buy anything in that pattern!

I love this!

New Zealand Countryside Wedding
February 2011
Chris and I had the pleasure of taking a road trip down to the bottom of the North Island outside of Hastings back in February! The ceremony was held outdoors.
We had so much fun taking photos inside the mansion!
We stayed inside this old lodge that was once a hospital for people with disabilities and head injuries! We were told that it was haunted, and we definitely felt an eirie feeling staying there. It was a lot of fun, and dozens of other people were staying there too, so it felt okay.

FINAL part FOUR: Vacation/Holiday in Cebu, Philippines (Photo Heavy)
Thanks for checking out our honeymoon & holiday photos! I'll get back into posting some style blogs again soon. :)
January 2011
After Sinulog, we stayed another night at Shangri La. It was so gorgeous there, and I definitely recommend staying there if you ever visit Cebu. :) Chris and I enjoyed the scenery and had fancy drinks. We also enjoyed the beautiful Italian restaurant there! They even had a chef from Italy cooking up the main dishes. YUM!

Our family came to pick us up, and we took some family pics together :)
And then later that night we had dinner with family and the SamPaul Loveteam! We could see some fans watching and wanting to say hello.
So they did eventually :) What a nice surprise!

The next day I met up with my dad and new stepmother :) He's doing very well and is very happy.
We also had a great time hanging out with with Myti, Mary and Ryan
with journalist-star cousin Linette at Ayala :)
And then we went out to dinner with Erica, Myti and more of our cousins (HAHA, don't mind my bare feet! EEEWWW)
It was amazing and once in a lifetime spending time with them. I hope to visit Cebu as much as possible! Thank you to everybody for hosting, taking the time to meet with us and graciously giving us our lovely wedding and honeymoon gifts. We'll never forget this trip!
