Chris and I continued to enjoy our honeymoon then holiday in Cebu, Philippines (fact: Cebu is the second largest metropolitan area in PHL!) We were also a part of the Sinulog parade and festivities! It's a religious festival/party/parade which is similar to Carnival in Brazil and Mardi Gras in New Orleans, LA.
My cousin Paul Jake Castillo is a celebrity in the Philippines (our mom's are sisters), and it was surreal/AMAZING seeing the support of his fans. He's a businessman, turned reailty tv star, turned actor/model. He's currently acting in a soap opera teleseries. His family are owners of a prominent pharmaceutical company. PJC is also linked to pretty starlet Sam Pinto. They are officially called the "SamPaul Loveteam" :)

On the day of the parade, we met everybody near midtown Cebu and took part in at least 5 hours of walking, marching and dancing in the streets!

The pharmaceutical company IPI wins every year for the float! This year's theme was Avatar! And the float even had a fake helicopter, pilot, floating rocks and steam. :) Yes, they did win again this year. !!!!!!!!!!
