One of the highlights of my US trip, was the famous ROSE BOWL Flea Market! I specifically planned this trip, so I could fit this into my schedule. :) I don't know how we did it, but Colette and I woke up at 6AM (three hours of sleep!) checked out of the hotel, had breakfast and made it over to beautiful, sunny Pasadena around 8AM. It was a little bit overwhelming at first, but there's free parking. And if you make it early enough, it's not as daunting!
I'm wearing an old vintage chevron scooter dress purchased at Buffalo Exchange in Vegas. It was actually my friend Adee's dress, but it was a longer length that she didn't like. I got it altered and shortened for a swinging sixties vibe. FYI, I'm wearing shorts under this dress.
We met up with my good old friend Adrienne. :)
We were in antique, vintage heaven. We found this vintage dress boutique and went into hardcore shopping mode. I bought 5 dresses! (Errrr, I know I went a little overboard, but trust me, I wait all year to do a big shop like this.) some classic and some super funky and all very reasonably priced from $15 to $30.

I'm holding my vintage haul, extremely chipper.
pretty Adrienne, this is another cellphone photo of my lomography print!
Our friend Cori usually sells vintage at this flea market. I have already told her that one day when I'm back for a visit, I definitely want to set up shop and sell with her too! I can't wait to come back. Maybe I can meet up with a few of my favourite bloggers next time. ie. @ http://29skirts.blogspot.com!
